“There are many other cooking classes to choose from. Do not choose this one! It was in a dirty restaurant portion of a kid’s entertainment complex, half hour drive from the pickup place. The place was dirty, the aprons stank and were unclean. The cooking lesson was perfunctory and basically involved spooning premade tiramisu into a glass, and preparing pasta in a 10 minute procedure, using unclean pasta machines. As a result the pasta, both ravioli and noodles, were mushy and barely edible. The red sauce tasted bottled or canned. The tiramisu was watery, with no structure or substance. “If you want to learn how to make pasta in Tuscany, I highly recommend this one. Annamaria and Valentina were very friendly and welcoming. Due to a cancellation I was the only student for the class, I didn’t feel like they were just going through the motions. They were forthcoming with their knowledge and answered all my questions. We finished with a great chat while finishing the lunch we had prepared looking over a picturesque view. The language barrier was not an issue at all. I would do it again in a heartbeat, next time I’m in Europe. Thanks again ladies for a fabulous lesson and company.”
